It was really fun to make these!  He was awake the whole time and did great.  My friend Jennifer is super talented and she is so great with Chase!

Jason and I have one week left till we have to go back to work and take Chase to the babysitter!  I have a great sitter, but I am nervous about leaving him.   Tomorrow is my birthday and I normally celebrate big, but this it has just slipped by me with going to the beach, getting ready for work and taking care of Chase.  It is amazing how nothing matters anymore but Chase.  I don't know what I did before him.  

Dad's Game

Probably should have put this one on before the beach pictures because there will be more of those, but Chase is napping so I have time to add these!

Chase went to his dad's game Friday night in Millington at the big USA stadium.  He had on his adorable "Dad's Team" outfit.  Jason took him down on the field to put his feet in the grass and dirt behind home plate so he could get used to his new position as a catcher when the time comes.  He may not even like baseball, but these are too cute of him and Jason!  The opposing team's families were oohing and awhing from the stands along with everyone from Bartlett!

Gulf Shores... Day 1

Every year since I can remember, my mom and I have gone on a mother-daughter beach trip.  This years trip is very different with us having Chase.   It has been fun so far!  He rode the 6 hours from mom's like a champ.  He was so good all day in the car.   

When we got here, we took him to the pool.  He was sort of shocked at first, but really liked it.  We tried the kiddie pool, but it was too hard to lean him over.   

Today, we went to the beach and man is it hot!  It is much hotter than it has ever been since I have been going.   Chase only stayed on the beach a few minutes before we took him in.   He wasn't much on the sand or the surf.  Maybe when we come back in October, he will do better.  We are enjoying being with him and spending time with him on his first vacation.  Jason will go in October so he can help carry all of the junk!
