Snow Day!

At the last minute today we were given a snow day!  All three of us were ready for work including Chase!  At 6:45, Shelby County made the announcement that we were cancelled for the day.  How nice!  A day at home in the middle of the week.  Here are some pictures of us and Chase in the snow!

Updates

We have not been up to much at all lately.  Just work and taking care of Chase at night. I never talk on the phone or get on the computer at night. There is just no time to do it all before bed at 9.   When he goes to sleep, we go to sleep because Chase still wakes up at 4 for about 20 minutes to eat.  Now, he is crawling all over the place and trying to pull up. He seems way to wobbly to walk still, but we know it is coming.  I need a coral to hold him in.   He goes for the strangest things....door stops, remotes, phones, etc.  I can't even talk on the phone now.  We gave him an old cell phone and he loves it.   The time is getting closer for baseball.  Jason already has started up with some things.  He is the head JV coach and the catcher's coach.  I am about to be a baseball widow again!  I love it, but I won't be going to many games this year until the summer.

Chase turned 9 months on this past Thursday!  We can hardly believe it.  Here are a couple of pics of him.  We bought him a new ducky tub.  He LOVES it.  He would play in it for an hour if we would let him. He splashes and kicks and can't figure out which of his toys to play with so he just picks them all up and down constantly.  We let him have some chocolate ice cream and it was hilarious how much he loved it....after mommy's own heart!

Holidays

Chase had a very memorable First Christmas! He loved the boxes and paper more than his toys. His most favorite was a red plastic cup. We spend Christmas Eve with J's family. Every year we spend the night there and wake up the next morning to see what Santa brought us all. Christmas Day we left for Tupelo and stayed till New Year's Eve. It was a nice, long visit! J killed a 9-point buck so he was pumped. Most of our time was spend with family and relaxing. Chase learned to go from crawling to sitting up and has another tooth! It is amazing what a few days can do in a baby! Here are some random cute pictures of Chase and Daddy's deer!
