5 weeks old

Chase is 5, almost 6 weeks old!  He weighed 6lbs and was 19 inches long at his last visit.  I assume this is what he would have weighed if I had had him on time.  He eats like a horse so he will get bigger soon! He also tries to hold his head up and can roll from one side to the other.  

 We have started taking him out more and more.  We went to the mall with my mom and grandmother a couple weeks ago and it was so much fun strolling him around.  He really loves being in the stroller.   

The only problems we are having is not getting enough sleep!  He also is fussy a lot with gas, but hopefully that will pass. Jason and I are having the best time being parents!   It is worth not sleeping and not getting to do all of the things we used to do.  It will get easier with time to get him out and about.  

An update on Jason's baseball team... they made it to the State Tournament, but lost in the championship.  They did a great job this year.  Their final record was 37-5.  Jason's JV team's final record was 29-5 and they won the JV Regional, which is the highest tournament they have.  It was a great baseball season.  I didn't get to be as involved as I would have liked, but it was still a lot of fun.  

Chase got to wear his "Dad's Team" outfit to a couple of games.  Jason is about to begin the summer season, which is a lot more relaxed than the regular season.
