We knew it was coming, but waited and waited to see how much snow we would get last Sunday night. We got about 5 inches, I would guess. Chase watched it out the back door, as did Jason and I, just hoping for a bunch to get us out of school for a day or so. We ended up with 2 days out, which made us get a 4 day weekend. I love that Jason and I are both teachers so we are out together. The time with Chase as a family is priceless to me! We had a great 2 days! We played in the snow, road the 4-wheeler, and went sledding. I made a lot of good food to keep us going while we were confined. I think I watched more Barney than any one human should have to endure in a 2 day span! We were able to get out Tuesday, so we went sledding and out to lunch with our friends, the Rings. We always have the BEST time with them....and Chase adores them. I would like one more good snow this winter to play in again, but I am ready for Spring to get here!
