Weekend in Mississippi/Last Week of School

Chase and I went to my Mom's this past weekend.   She worked Mother's Day so we had to wait a weekend to celebrate with her.   We did not do much at all and it was great!  My mom got Chase a kiddie pool and he pretty much stayed in it the whole time.    They live out in the country so he thinks he can tinkle in the yard or just pull his clothes off to hop in the pool at any time.   He ran over the pool, took all his clothes off and hopped on in.  I am afraid I have a nudist on my hands...not really!  We made him wear his swimsuit the rest of the time, but this picture is hilarious and he will kill me for it when he is big. I tried to erase out his little bottom, but I think he would walk around like this all of the time if we would let him.  

This is our last week of school and today is Chase's last day at Mama Jane's this summer.  He is going to miss her and his friends so much!  She is heading to Guatemala for a mission trip and we know she will be a great inspiration to the people there and love rocking those babies.    I hope some of the mom's take some good pictures so I can grab some to put on here of their last day at Jane's for the year.  We will see most of them in a couple weeks for a birthday party.  My mom will be here tomorrow to keep Chase the last 2 days of school for me.  I am thankful to have her! 

Jason baseball team won District, but got beat in the Regionals so he has been home with us for 2 weeks and we are loving it!  Chase starts cheering in the car when he sees Daddy's truck home.    Summer season will start soon enough.  

I have lots of plans this summer.  Next week, I am taking Chase for his first story time at the library so we will see how that goes.   The first week of June, Chase and I will go with my mom to the beach while J has baseball camp, then I am teaching VBS the next week, then doing some summer technology classes for teachers a couple days the next week, then finally, we will go to Muscle Shoals for our annual golf trip with the Ring family and J's sister's family.   We stay at the Marriot resort and it is nice!   Lots of fun.   We are really excited about the upcoming weekend...we plan to go to a Redbirds game with some of our Life Group friends and possibly to the members night at the zoo on Sunday.  

I am so ready for summer!  I love to sit and relax, but I also love to do lots of fun things with Chase.  Come on Friday!
