New School Year and Soccer!

School started back with a bang July 30th for Jason and I.  We moved the weekend before and I trained new teachers at New Teacher In-Service.  We are finally feeling a little settled in the house and have already had life group over last Sunday.   We worked all last week to get pictures up and make it feel like a home.   Jason is still at Shadowlawn and I am at 3 schools this year.  I have a new title...Curriculum Technology Data Specialist (CTDS).  I will still work with teachers and integrate technology into classes, but will also work with helping teachers use testing data to plan lessons.   I am used to 2 schools and not 3 and 2 of my 3 are new to me so this is a year full of changes.  Those who know me, know this hard for me!

Chase has his first soccer practice tonight.  We are excited...probably more than he is.  My fear is that he will go to 1 practice, hate it and not want to go back.   He has a mind of his own and knows what he likes and what he doesn't.  If he does not like it, he won't even try it again.  It's a problem to say the least!  I will have lots of pictures to post after tonight's practice.

We will go to my mom's for my grandmother's 84th birthday this weekend.  I am BLESSED that she is still in excellent health and that Chase gets to know her.  I am cherishing every day I spend with her.

A soccer post will come tomorrow... let's hope that the verdict is that he likes it and will play!

Trying on the shin guards and socks

Getting new shoes with daddy

New Soccer shoes...black, neon orange and blue???  Whatever is all I can!

The socks are WAY too long so it is hilarious to say the least!
