Zoo Day

My mom came into town Friday night.  We had originally planned to go to Atlanta this weekend to take my grandmother to see Chipper Jones' last game, but since she just had surgery 2 weeks ago, we changed plans.  We hope to go to Atlanta fall break for a playoff game (if they win this Friday, we go to Sunday's game).  My grandmother so wants to see Chipper play in person so I hope they win.. Go Braves!  Jason and I are pretty excited to *maybe* get to go.  I really want to take Chase to the aquarium in Atlanta.  He is so into whales, sharks, and dolphins that he would just be amazed to go see them all.    If we don't go to Atlanta, we will just do some fun fall things in Tupelo at Mom's while Jason hunts.  Either way, I will be okay, but I REALLY want the Braves to win this Friday so we can go!

Anyway, since my mom had already taken off work, she came Friday night for the weekend.  We went to Chase's game Saturday morning.  My child wears on my nerves at soccer.  At practice he kicks, runs, etc.  At the games, he does NOTHING.  He stands there the whole game while everyone else runs around.  He likes goalie and if he is not goalie, then he is not going to do a thing.   He stands out there and plays with his shadow, which is hiliarious since he acts like he is clock.   He is in his own world.   I  keep reminding myself that he is 4.

This is his preferred thing to do at soccer...take a break.  (No, I have not traded MSU for Arkansas!  It was our friends blanket!)

After soccer, we went to the zoo.  It was perfect weather.  Here are some pics...I only had my iPhone

We fed the Giraffes, but he was scared of it so I did it

The Monkeys were all over the place that day

He loves the zoo playground as much as the animals

He actually smiled for these.  He is not much on pictures lately

Reading the zoo map.  He did pretty well actually!
