Christmas Break

We had a wonderful Christmas Break!  I was sick most of it, but other than that, it was great.  We started off by making some cookies, then had Christmas Eve with J's family to open gifts and have Jason's birthday cake, Santa came Christmas morning, then we headed to MS.  We had a great time in MS.  I was really sick, but by the end of the week was better so I enjoyed that last weekend.   We did a lot of relaxing during the break and really did not make any plans.  Chase loves to be at home so we stayed home and played there.  It was wonderful!!  Here are some pictures from our break and holiday!

Christmas Eve- Oscar, the elf, left Chase a special note saying he could touch him and love him before he went back to the North Pole.  It said that Jesus was the reason for Christmas and for Chase to always remember that is why we celebrate.

J's birthday is Christmas Eve...we only had candles that said 16 from my nephew's cake.  I forgot to buy Jason candles so he was 16.  Chase just had to have something to blow out.

Santa loot!

The only picture of me on my camera. I think my mom took some on hers.  I am never in any pics!
 Oh well!

We made gumbo New Year's Eve with some friends from church. Chase and I made it to midnight to watch the ball drop.  I think that kid would stay up all night!  We started the second semester last week, which means baseball practice has started and is in full swing.  I love that Jason loves to coach, but I have sure enjoyed him being home...I'll have to get used to him not being there again.   We sure were blessed in 2012 and I am looking forward to doing more studying in my bible this year and hoping for a great 2013 as well!
