Karate, Ice, Zoo and more!

January and February have been cold and yucky weather months!  We managed to have some fun though!

We took advantage of a warmer MLK, Jr. Holiday and went to the zoo with our good friends the Gearharts.

Chase celebrated his 100th day of school!  This was right after the zoo day so he did 100 cotton balls in a white cheetah pattern.

Chase started Karate at KARE Karate.  He has loved it.  He got promoted to Orange belt last night. 

My sweet grandmother took a bad fall and ended up in the hospital and rehab.  She just came home this past Saturday and is doing well!  

We missed 5 days of school due to 3-4 different sleet/ice events in a row.  The break was much needed, but it was miserably cold and not really fun to play in.  I got a lot done in those days off and loved being home with Chase and J.
