Spring Break 2012

What a great week off we had!!  It was awesome weather and I so enjoyed my time with Chase.  I just feel there is never enough of it.   Jason was busy with baseball, but was home with us some and that was also a blessing.   Jason's grandmother is still in the hospital and doing pretty well after all she has been through.  We are praying that she gets well enough to go back to her nursing home where her friends are.

We met my friend Carissa (who is pregnant with TWINS!) in Collierville.   

Chase adores Mariella.  We went to the park, the mall, and had lunch at Red Robbin.

Our friend Amanda got to come to lunch with us.  I really enjoyed catching up with

Carissa and Amanda. I don't get to see them enough! 

I took Chase and my niece Sara Beth to the park for a supper picnic.  

Chase had a ball riding his scooter, playing and feeding the ducks.

On Saturday, we went to the zoo to see the new Dino exhibit and
IT. WAS. WONDERFUL! 

Chase thought they were real, which is priceless.  He was a little scared even. 

That about sums up our break.   We spent a little time in MS at my moms, a little time at home, and got to catch up with some friends and visit the zoo.  It was a great break and went way to quickly.  Chase asked Monday morning if I could stay home with him and not go to work. Broke my heart.  I wish I could have just pulled the covers up and done just that!  Many more fun days to come. We have plans to go to the circus Saturday night.  My mom and grandmother are coming in town for that.  I also hope to convince Chase to see the Easter bunny this weekend.
